Vase (stoneware flower frog)

A stoneware vase which is designed to display flowers or foliage however you choose.  The vase is enclosed with different sized holes in the top to hold the flowers in position. It can be filled with water to preserve fresh flowers or used empty for dried flowers.

It has been thrown on the wheel then bisque fired to 1000 degrees Celsius. After a satin clear glaze has been added to the inside of the vase, it is fired again to 1200 degrees Celsius.  The outside has been left raw to preserve the tactile feel of the clay.

This item is dishwasher and microwave safe.
