Shallow Stoneware Bowl

A cross between a bowl and plate (blate?) with a black and white geometric desig.

It has been thrown on the wheel then bisque fired to 1000 degrees Celsius. After the design has been painted on and a satin clear glaze has been added to the inside of the cup, it is fired again to 1200 degrees Celsius.  The outside has been left raw to preserve the tactile feel of the clay.

This item is dishwasher safe but microwaves are discouraged.
